On the school grounds of the Rising Star School, a borehole for clean water has been drilled for the students. As the site is open to the public, a wall is being built around the borehole to protect it.

Referring to the traditional Zimbabwean design of a Mother’s House on a rural residential stand and the geometry of the internal borehole, the wall is constructed roundly. The entrance gate receives a round arch according to traditional masonry construction.

The construction is supported by the German NGO ZimRelief e.V.

Auf dem Schulgelände der Rising Star Schule ist ein Brunnen für sauberes Wasser für die Schülerinnen und Schüler gebohrt worden. Da das Gelände öffentlich zugänglich ist, wird eine Mauer um den Brunnen gebaut, die diesen schützen soll.

Bezugnehmend auf die traditionelle simbabwische Bauweise des Hauses der Mutter auf einem ländlich gelegenen Wohngrundstück und der Geometrie des innenliegenden Brunnens wird die Mauer rund ausgeführt. Das Eingangstor erhält nach traditioneller Mauerwerksbauweise einen Rundbogen.
